So.. it has been a REAL long time since I've posted anything....sitting here tonight wondering if I'm doing the right thing.....I'm having problems with my crohn's....I'm really uncomfortable, having the pain come and go on my right side.....it has been a good long time since I've had any real problems....I was wondering if a hospital visit is in the near future, really hope not...trying to avoid that, this shit sucks

Wow, talk about feeling down. What, a month or so ago I started to just slip into feeling down, I guess depressed. I stopped digging on my own music, stopped participating in some on line music sites, one I'm an assistant owner of........just decided to do nothing really.

I mean, I just didn't care for my "fun" stuff. I didn't slag on my family, just my extracurricular stuff.

You tell me, how else can you look at a war where one side states they will not target civilians, but their enemy chooses to hide amongst women and children, so....it happens. The Red Cross has had to back off their attempts to give aid because they have come under fire by the Israeli military. The Israeli military is being accused on multiple occasions of having left wounded to die, some accusations even claim they have gone so far as to barricade the wounded in manners to prevent help finding them. These are war crimes people.......hell, they have been accused of targeting a hospital, AFTER being given the coordinates in an effort to prevent such....

The worst part to me, our government is sitting back, actually supporting this.

Do your part, read up on the situation, then and only then can make an educated decision as to who to support.
Me, I support the children that have been placed in harms way because of a pissing match.

I have a close friend that plays the game Second Life
a fair bit. Well, she has her own island there, crazy stuff, I know, but anyway, one of the things there is a "club" she has built.

Fair enough, sort of crazy to build a virtual island with a club and all that crazy stuff, but if you really think about it, it is a really cool way for friends to hang out, especially long distance friends. Plus, you get to play a game and in the club listen to music. Aside from that, it seems that business potential does exist.....I've been told that some people create shops to sell virtual items they design, for real money. They charge for their design time....hmmmmmmmmm

Here is the reason for my post. She is looking to expand the club she has to really cater to players all over the world. She wants to have a huge variety of dance music to stream for players to listen to as they hang out in her club. I'm looking for any DJ sets , live sets, extended mixes, things like that. No pay involved, too many possible problems if money exchanges hands. HOWEVER, if it is your own set that is in the rotation, you will get credit. DJ's will NOT get shafted in this. Look at it as another avenue of advertisement, for free.

Hit me up with anything you can, and hell, if you know of a set that is available as a freebie, I'll take that too, we just need music, and we will help give you exposure.

Jeezz, it has been a few days since a blog, what the hell huh? Actually, I have no clue, just lazy maybe, no, wait, give me a bit of time to think of an excuse. Damn, this is like calling in to work so you can have a bullshit day :P

Have you seen the trailer for the Wolverine movie? Looks to be damn good, so does Watchmen, The Spirit, lot of good movies coming out soon. I'm still on the fence about the Friday the 13th remake.........

Other really mucked up news around here, it is possible the body of Caylee Anthony was found a half mile from the home of her grand parents. If you are not sure about that, another jump over to google can get you up to speed. Now, I have my opinion on the situation, as does most of Florida. The discovery can give a means of closure, if it is her. After that, let us hope and pray that justice does work as it should. Anyone capable of killing a child then tossing the child's body away as so much trash deserves the worst society can give. Five minutes alone and I think I could dole out some eye for eye.......

OK, I can't really lie about it, I'm metal at heart. I dig all kinds of music, but loud crunchy power chords just drive me.
My oldest daughter managed to be in the right place at the right time and developed a friendship with these kids just over a year ago. Hey, one thing leads to another and they are set to just explode.

Well, here I sit, should be working on my own music, but I'm wasting time listening to a stream of the new album Chinese Democracy.............why am I doing this?? Please , make it go away.......
I must navigate away from here where a good portion can be heard, but seriously, why bother?
I don't know, I guess it has moments........I guess. Vocals, it sounds like Axl is trying WAY too damn hard at times, other moments are what you love about his singing. Musical styles, whoa, this album covers damn near ever one. Don't believe me, give it a listen......you will stop trying to keep track, I promise.
Conversations abound, why were the sales weaker than expected.....perhaps most of the fans got tired of waiting???

Now, Axl has his attorney go after Dr. Pepper due to the blundered promotion of giving everyone a free soda IF this holy grail of an album ever saw the light of day.
They had shit to do when this goofy scheme was announced with no cross cooperation from G-n-R, but now the proverbial shit has hit the fan.........

Axl, how about stop being a knob and actually put a decent album together in a reasonable time frame? Stop trying to shit on everyone else simply because your efforts are half arsed and your ego needs a separate zip code.

Now, now, IF anyone happens to read this and think I'm a hater, wait now, I'm a G-n-R fan from DAMN early on. I remember the pic that had almost as much teased hair and leather as every other hair/glam metal band breaking out around 86'ish and Axl was wearing pants that had "glam sucks" on the left thigh...yet they looked as glam as everyone else at the time...should have known then... I'm just now one of the fans who has grown up some and I would really love to hear a good rock album, hell even if it is knee deep in the hair metal vibe, just an album that has some cohesion, is that too much to ask?

Here I sit, just wasting time, listening to music from my teens, thanks to youtube.....not even going to "link" it, you know how to get there...

This is what I do the night of getting my monthly B- 12 shot. I sit here, headphones on air drumming my ass off. I wind up so full of energy. I just need to remember to get the damn things every month. I missed last months and was a day late for this month. I was knee deep in B-12 deficiency, talk about a fucking nightmare in a hurry.

So many reasons why I loved my teens...just look around, God I loved the girls and their hair!

I've been trying to semi build a new computer since June of this year........no shit, since JUNE!!!! Talk about taking got friggin' ever! Today it may have finally happened.

My boss decided to help me out by ordering a bundle from Geeks and I would pay him back out of my paycheck. That helped because I didn't have to come up with a wad of money up front. I decided that once I got my new computer up and running, I would be able to use Reason faster. I could also give my "old" computer to my oldest daughter and then use her computer for a game and learning station for my youngest.

Big plans people, big plans. Add to the mix that once my oldest girl found out she started foaming at the mouth to get rid of her really low end box. It works, but runs on windows millennium, I think, or is it 2000???? Hell, either way, it runs, but she tries to do WAYY to much at once and it constantly goofs.

So, I get the first system in, I'm ready to build.....spend a bit of time to put everything together to watch it go up in a puff of smoke.

Yup.......powered it up and smoked it. See,the only thing pre installed was the case fan. Problem with that was the monkey boy that did it managed to pinch the power wire between the case and the fan cutting the insulation. I finally figured that everything was toasted, after toasting a few more parts at a local computer shop. I send the whole kit back, accessories and all to get a credit. Once everything is checked I get the credit and order a new system.

Now, the real bitch is the original system I considered ordering was an acrylic case system.......hell, I can't even remember why I changed my mind, maybe the motherboard choices...

I get the new system in, put everything together, after triple checking, and the damn thing is dead........the motherboard and/or CPU is shit. Send it back, get a replacement, put everything together again......nothing......call tech support, somehow I get put in touch with the mobo makers, we determine the board is dead......get another replacement, once again, error beeps......hello tech support...by this time I recognize names and voices, and vice versa, the CPU is not compatible with the mobo........this is after asking that specific question the previous go'round.......

By this time I feel like a complete fool but to make it worse, the economy is so rough, no shop around here wants to help me out without running every diagnostic they can think of. I checked around, I'm talking "leave it with me for a few days" type of shit...no thank you, I have enough problem, I don't need someone needing a bit of money finding more shit to test or things wrong.

I get the replacement CPU and once again error beeps.....I decide on a whim to replace the mobo battery, hell, crazier shit has happened. No help. I worked a side job last weekend so I had a bit of extra cash and as a last minute shot I headed down to pick up another stick of RAM.

Fucking board worked.........the RAM was hit or miss this whole time. It had been tested previosuly in two other computers, one didn't want to work, but the guy told me the system was having problems. The second computer worked, so I'm not sure what to think. I'm going to get the RAM replaced, thus I'll have 2 gigs.

The last mobo they didn't even want me to return, now I'm figuring it may be fine.....I'll have to figure some way to check it without tearing my new system apart or costing me an arm.

Dumbest shit, I finally seem to have all of this hardware junk worked out, now I'm struggling to get windows to connect to my damn network.........hahaha, what a bunch of shit huh?

Seriously, I do believe that I managed to just get a bad run of hardware, a LOOOOOONG bad run of hardware, add to the fact that I really had no local tech support just compounded the problem. I have to admit that the assistance from Geeks was top notch, just a bit difficult to work with people out in California when trying to solve a hardware issue.

Wish me luck.......my oldest daughter is driving me nuts

So I watched an internet fight start on a site I use, I figured it would add even more "WTF" to the deal if I added some images to clarify the real deal behind a forum fight. I failed........I kept jacking up the codes, I simply gave up since many other members went with my initial response of cooling the two opponents down. InternetDJ is the site, if you are really curious, the forums......

I did find some really crazy shit though at this index page, some of the videos are damn funny. I have not watched every video there, so if you stumble across something offensive.....give yourself five minutes and everything will return to normal.
