been a while....

So.. it has been a REAL long time since I've posted anything....sitting here tonight wondering if I'm doing the right thing.....I'm having problems with my crohn's....I'm really uncomfortable, having the pain come and go on my right side.....it has been a good long time since I've had any real problems....I was wondering if a hospital visit is in the near future, really hope not...trying to avoid that, this shit sucks

Wow, talk about feeling down. What, a month or so ago I started to just slip into feeling down, I guess depressed. I stopped digging on my own music, stopped participating in some on line music sites, one I'm an assistant owner of........just decided to do nothing really.

I mean, I just didn't care for my "fun" stuff. I didn't slag on my family, just my extracurricular stuff.

I think I'm getting out of the funk though, I hope so.

The shit in Gaza....what the fuck? OK, to be honest, the reasons for the war are so muddied up, I don't really give a fuck about it, but in this day and age, even a rat fuck country like Israel can do better than the bomb lobbing going on. Too many children have died and are dying for this.

You tell me, how else can you look at a war where one side states they will not target civilians, but their enemy chooses to hide amongst women and children, so....it happens. The Red Cross has had to back off their attempts to give aid because they have come under fire by the Israeli military. The Israeli military is being accused on multiple occasions of having left wounded to die, some accusations even claim they have gone so far as to barricade the wounded in manners to prevent help finding them. These are war crimes people.......hell, they have been accused of targeting a hospital, AFTER being given the coordinates in an effort to prevent such....

The worst part to me, our government is sitting back, actually supporting this.

Do your part, read up on the situation, then and only then can make an educated decision as to who to support.
Me, I support the children that have been placed in harms way because of a pissing match.

I have a close friend that plays the game Second Life
a fair bit. Well, she has her own island there, crazy stuff, I know, but anyway, one of the things there is a "club" she has built.

Fair enough, sort of crazy to build a virtual island with a club and all that crazy stuff, but if you really think about it, it is a really cool way for friends to hang out, especially long distance friends. Plus, you get to play a game and in the club listen to music. Aside from that, it seems that business potential does exist.....I've been told that some people create shops to sell virtual items they design, for real money. They charge for their design time....hmmmmmmmmm

Here is the reason for my post. She is looking to expand the club she has to really cater to players all over the world. She wants to have a huge variety of dance music to stream for players to listen to as they hang out in her club. I'm looking for any DJ sets , live sets, extended mixes, things like that. No pay involved, too many possible problems if money exchanges hands. HOWEVER, if it is your own set that is in the rotation, you will get credit. DJ's will NOT get shafted in this. Look at it as another avenue of advertisement, for free.

Hit me up with anything you can, and hell, if you know of a set that is available as a freebie, I'll take that too, we just need music, and we will help give you exposure.

Jeezz, it has been a few days since a blog, what the hell huh? Actually, I have no clue, just lazy maybe, no, wait, give me a bit of time to think of an excuse. Damn, this is like calling in to work so you can have a bullshit day :P

Have you seen the trailer for the Wolverine movie? Looks to be damn good, so does Watchmen, The Spirit, lot of good movies coming out soon. I'm still on the fence about the Friday the 13th remake.........

I've been working to fine tune some songs, trying to finish up some that have been sitting in various stages of , what, incompleteness, did I just make that up?

Oh yeah, did you catch the size 10 'ol Bush had to duck, twice? Google it, and then tell me, did everyone in that room seem just a bit too relaxed about it? Don't get me wrong, I'm not supporting Bush and his sort of politics, but he is the president and the reporter pitched the first high, reached back down, reloaded and then tossed the second just a bit outside the sweet spot.......Bush was the one that reacted most, everyone else sort of just mumbled through it..

Other really mucked up news around here, it is possible the body of Caylee Anthony was found a half mile from the home of her grand parents. If you are not sure about that, another jump over to google can get you up to speed. Now, I have my opinion on the situation, as does most of Florida. The discovery can give a means of closure, if it is her. After that, let us hope and pray that justice does work as it should. Anyone capable of killing a child then tossing the child's body away as so much trash deserves the worst society can give. Five minutes alone and I think I could dole out some eye for eye.......
